AMC is founded and lead by Adele Clarke.  A graduate from Northampton University who holds vast experience in dance and working with children, Adele started AMC in 2011 with a mission of improving confidence, developing skills and technique, and showing the joy that dance can bring to as many children and adults as possible, in a super fun and stress-free environment.  An ethos which still stands true today.

Starting dance at the age of 3, Adele spent 15 years at The Bannister Academy of Dance in Loughborough where she also began to teach before leaving to study in Northampton.  Whilst at university, Adele founded and captained the University of Northampton Dance Club, teaching and encouraging over 250 students during her time there.  She also choreographed for and lead national competition pieces and won a multitude of awards with the team.  Adele has worked in schools with Aimhigher Northamptonshire, raising the aspirations of children from across the county, has taught countless workshops on behalf of councils, schools, nurseries and private organisations, and has earnt over 18 years of dance teaching experience.

Adele leads all of our Tots classes, Adult Ballet, Adult Modern & Jazz and some of our Adult Tap classes.  She also teaches or assists a large number of our School of Dance classes - you'll basically find her in most of our classes either teaching, assisting or supporting the team.  All of our in-school and nursery sessions and community workshops and parties are also lead by Adele.
Adele is a qualified Dance Teacher with the British Ballet Organisation (BBO Dance) and is a certified Progressing Ballet Technique instructor - meaning she's own resident expert in enhancing technique, strength and conditioning to aid ballet technique for all of our students. In 2020, Adele was named national 'Leader of the Year' in the children's activity sector in the prestigious national Club Hub awards.
Adele prides herself in leading well-organised, structured dance sessions that focus on technique, performance skills, building confidence and above all FUN!
